Where to Meet for Fall Minis at Jerusalem Mill Village (Step-by-Step)

If you’ve booked a Fall Mini Session with Tasha Sojka Photography—yay! I’m so excited to capture your family in the gorgeous fall vibe of Jerusalem Mill Village in Kingsville, Maryland. To keep things simple, here’s a step-by-step guide (with photos!) of exactly where to park, what to look for, and how to find me.

Location: Jerusalem Mill Village, Kingsville, MD

Session length: 30 minutes — please arrive 20-25 minutes early to ensure you meet me by the start of your session time. If we start your session later than your alloted time I will not be able to give you extra time.

Step 1 — Turn into the Visitor Parking lot

Look for the brown “Jerusalem Mill Visitor Parking →” sign on Jerusalem Rd and turn right into the lot

Step 2 — Park in the main lot

Pull into the paved lot and park anywhere. Gather your crew + jackets/blanket here.

Step 3 — Spot the landmark (you’re close!)

You’ll pass a blue dumpster and porta-potties along the edge of the lot — glamorous? no. helpful landmark? yes. Also good to know for the way back incase anyone needs to go!

Step 4 — Trailhead = “Chesapeake Search Dogs” sign

This brown sign marks the trail entrance we’ll use. Head toward it.

Step 5 — Follow the gravel path

Hop onto the gravel path running between the trees and the field.

Step 6 — Pass the rustic birdhouse

Cute landmark alert — keep going past the little weathered birdhouse on the left of you as you walk

Step 7 — The path opens up

You’ll see a little bridge between the trees — continue forward.

Step 8— the lone tree

turn right by the tree with the rock under it. You should see me at that point at the top of the hill.
