When is the best time to book a newborn session?

Most moms book thier newborn session when they are 12 weeks along. You can book as early as you would like.

Do you provide outfits?

I sure do! I have quite a colletion of outfits and props specifially made for newborns!

What if my baby is older than 16 days?

Don't let that stop you! Email me and we will work a way out to get adorable photos of your newborn!

What if my baby has jaundice?

No worries! If you are concerned I usually have Mom's email me a current pic of baby to show me the level of juandice and take it from there.

What if my baby has acne and peeling skin?

That is totally normal. Don't let that even be a worry; if you want it removed I can take care of it for you in Photoshop.

I am worried that my baby won't cooperate on the day of our shoot.

I hear this question A LOT. Don't worry about that. I have a few tricks up my sleeve to help settle baby. In the even that baby is visibly uncomfortable and in pain I do suggest we reschedule our session.

What if I can't come to your studio?

I never force anyone to come to me. If you are having a hard recovery I will come to you with all the props and outfits.

How long is the wait to get my photos back?

It typically takes three weeks from the day of your session to get your photos back.

The studio is designed with new parents in mind. You’ll always remain in the same room as your newborn, and everything you might need is available—from diapers, wipes, burp cloths, and pacifiers to a bottle warmer, changing table, and snacks (sleep not included, unfortunately).

What Actually Happens During a Posed Newborn Session?

A posed newborn session typically lasts 2 hours and is completely baby-led. This allows time for feeding, soothing, diaper changes, and cuddles whenever needed.

Your baby will be gently posed into props using safe, supported techniques, with comfort and safety guiding every step. There is never any rushing—sessions move at your baby’s pace. Parents are encouraged to relax, watch, and enjoy the experience while I take care of everything else.

When Should I Book + How Old does baby need to be for a posed session?

Posed newborn photography is best scheduled during pregnancy to ensure availability. Sessions typically take place when your baby is between 7–19 days old, when newborns are sleepier and easier to pose comfortably.

If your baby arrives early or late, your session date will be adjusted accordingly. If your baby is over 19 days old and your heart still wants a posed newborn photos please reach out! I have successfully put a baby up to 4 weeks old in a bucket!

What Do Parents Need to Bring?

Very little—everything is provided. The studio is stocked with newborn essentials including diapers, wipes, burp cloths, pacifiers, a bottle warmer, and a full selection of wraps and props. Parents are welcome to bring a sentimental item if they wish, but it’s never required.Wear something comfortable and neutral if you plan to be photographed, or simply sit back and enjoy the experience.
