Photographer, mom, nurturer, and professional keeper of the little things.
I'm Tasha!

Meet Tasha, Baltimore Maternity, Newborn & Family Photographer

Hey, I'm Tasha!

I'm a Baltimore maternity, newborn and family photographer, a transplant from New York, and mom to 15-year-old twin boys.

I'm a nurturer by nature, and someone who has become increasingly aware of just how quickly life changes.

When my boys were little, everyone told me it would go fast. And like you, I absolutely hated that phrase and probably the people who said it, too.

But they were right.

Now they're sophomores in high school, and I'm watching childhood quietly turn into something else.

The photographs I have of them aren't simply pictures anymore. They're proof of versions of our family that don't exist today. Their little faces. The missing teeth. The way they fit into my arms. Even the completely ordinary days I didn't realize I'd someday miss.

That understanding is at the heart of the way I photograph families today.

Home Is My Favorite Place

I'm happiest with my family gathered in the kitchen, feeding everyone I love, listening to my boys tell me about their lives, cooking together, and lingering around the table longer than we probably intended.

I'm a nurturer through and through. It's probably also why photographing newborns has felt so natural to me for more than 12 years. Taking care of people is simply part of who I am. And while I love creating something beautiful, I'm far more interested in what a photograph feels like than whether everything in it is perfect.
The hand on your baby's back.
The way your child looks at you.
The chaos.
The laughter.
The tiny details you don't know you'll miss yet. Those are the things I want to give back to you.

Inspired by Art + Nature
If I'm not home, I want to be outside.
Give me woods, ferns, dirt trails, changing seasons and ridiculously beautiful light and I'm happy. I'm also pretty convinced I could live happily in the woods if society ever crumbled.
So much of my photography comes from that connection to nature.
The earthy colors. Organic textures. Movement. Imperfect shapes. And the way light changes everything it touches.
I don't want every family I photograph to look the same.
I want to take what inspires me in the natural world and use it to create something beautiful that still feels unmistakably like you.

And Yes, I Sage the Studio.
I'm deeply spiritual and believe the spaces we occupy carry energy.
So yes, the studio is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between newborns, but you better believe I sage it, too.
I want the space where I photograph your family to feel peaceful, warm and cared for.
Whether you share that belief or simply appreciate walking into a calm space where someone has thought about all the little details, you're welcome here.

More Than 12 Years of Photographing Families
I started photographing families because I loved creating beautiful images.
I continue doing it because I understand what those images eventually become.
Your baby won't stay this little.
Your children won't always reach for your hand.
Your family will never exist exactly as it does right now again.
And one day, these photographs won't just show you what everyone looked like.
They'll remind you what it felt like to be here.
That's why I photograph families.
